Why is Tathagata so cruel to Sun Wukong?

Sun Wukong has methods and is also the most powerful person among Tang Monk in learning scriptures, but Tathagata is particularly cruel to Sun Wukong. On the surface, it seems that the monkey is to blame. In fact, it is inseparable from Tathagata's deception.

The Tathagata is so powerful that he sent a cadre, Tang Monk, to help Sun Wukong achieve the right goal.

First, make the monkey arrogant. The monkey's abilities are not great, and he seems to be out of place in heaven. But when he was making a big fuss in the sky, he didn't know who the god was. He deliberately released the water to make the monkey feel good. Not only did he run rampant everywhere, but even the entire heaven was unable to do anything to him. At this time, the monkey thought he was omnipotent, and the people he fought with, Nezha Erlangshen, were actually mediocre in martial arts. After defeating everything, the monkey mistakenly thought that I was the best in the world.

Second, take action to overwhelm the monkey at the foot of Five Elements Mountain. Faced with Sun Wukong's arrogance in coveting the top spot in the heaven, Tathagata used his palm as a bet. If you, Sun Wukong, could find out and let the Jade Emperor move out of the Lingxiao Palace, you would be the Jade Emperor. Sun Wukong was also unambiguous and even asked Tathagata whether he could be the master of the Jade Emperor. However, Tathagata smiled and said: "It can be done, it can be done!" As everyone knows, Sun Wukong did not turn out Tathagata's palm. So, the Tathagata slapped him and pushed him out of the West Heaven Gate, "the five fingers turned into five connected mountains of gold, wood, water, fire and earth", and used "manipeimi", "four", "cup" to solidify the bird, "Xuanxiaoxiaojiaolong"/pgt;

Third, point the way. Sun Wukong was crushed at the foot of the Five Elements Mountain. After learning from the pain, he realized that he had been deceived by Tathagata and how could he not be able to separate himself. After Wukong was suppressed, there was nothing he could do. At this time, he met the Bodhisattva who went to the Eastern Tang Dynasty to seek Buddhist scriptures. The Bodhisattva told him that Tang Monk was the one who saved you, which made Sun Wukong worship Tang Monk at this time. Tang Monk is Sun Wukong's nobleman.

Fourth, tailor-made tight spells. Knowing that although Wukong had suffered many hardships, he could not be tamed after all, so he said to Guanyin: "This treasure is called a tight hoop. Although there are three of the same, they are just used in different ways. I have three golden incantations. If you meet on the road, If you are a demon with great magical powers, you must persuade him to learn to be a disciple of the Buddhist monk. If he refuses to obey, you can put this hoop on his head, and he will naturally recite the incantation according to the spell. His eyes are swollen, he has a headache, and his forehead is cracked. Come to my door to discipline him." Therefore, even though Wukong's power is boundless, he is still unable to move under Tang Seng's hands. He is controlled by Wukong for no other reason than to give Tang Seng the right to discipline him well.

Fifth, the purpose of the arrangement for Sha Seng Bajie is to let Sun Wukong work more. Arranging Sha Monk and Zhu Bajie to be part of the Buddhist scripture-gathering team is also about killing the chickens to show the monkeys, so that all the gods and goddesses can also become more conscious. Before Sha Seng and Zhu Bajie joined the Buddhist scripture search team, they had a good fight with Sun Wukong. However, after joining the Buddhist scripture search team, Bajie just ate and drank, and Sha Seng was just a porter, with no ability whatsoever. Whenever you encounter monsters, you rely on Sun Wukong. This also shows that Sha Seng and Zhu Bajie are in the same row as the Tathagata, so they don’t have to worry about work because they know the outcome of the matter. In the final analysis, it is just a temporary worker working with two subordinate civil servants, and all the work falls to the temporary worker.

Of course, objectively speaking, Tathagata suppressed Wukong heavily and also gave Wukong the motivation to improve. As the saying goes, there is motivation when there is pressure. Suddenly I remembered a passage from Mencius: "Therefore, when Heaven assigns great responsibilities to people, it must first strain their minds, strain their muscles and bones, starve their skin, deplete their bodies, and disturb their actions. Therefore, their minds and forbearance are tempted, and their inability is increased." ?" Tathagata set up obstacles everywhere, and there was no such thing as Sun Wukong's subsequent battle to defeat the Buddha. It seems that everything is God's will.
