Wang Jianchun was born in 1965 in Yixing, Jiangsu.

Wang Jianchun is a member of China Calligraphers Association, Yixing CPPCC, vice president of Yixing Calligraphy and Painting Institute, member of Yixing Calligraphers Association and president of Yixing Guo Shan Calligraphy and Painting Institute.

Calligraphy and seal cutting works have participated in China International Painting and Calligraphy Expo, Modern International Book Exhibition, the 2nd National Seal Cutting Exhibition, the 6th and 8th National Calligraphy Exhibition for Young and Middle-aged Calligraphers, the National Masterpieces Exhibition of Lanting Calligraphy Festival in China, the Excellent Works Exhibition of China Calligraphy Group and China Calligraphy Association, the 1st International Art Exhibition of Xiling Printing Society and the 1st Calligraphy Exhibition of Couplets.

His works have been exhibited in 10 countries and regions for many times, and won the Lin Sanzhi Prize in the three-year media exhibition, the Excellence Award in the National Calligraphy Competition of Calligraphy magazine, the Wan Jiale Cup, the National Dukang Cup Oriental Book Competition and the first prize in the National Marine Painting and Calligraphy Photography Exhibition.

In the early 1990s, he won the gold medal with 12 times in the national calligraphy and painting contest and the third prize in the "Holy Grail of Books" and "Xinghua Cup" national book contest. China Painting and Calligraphy, Calligraphy Guide, Calligraphy Guide and other national professional newspapers, CCTV and American TV satellite network made special presentations. His works were carved into the national monument forest, and some of them were collected by museums and art galleries at home and abroad.

He has published a number of monographs, such as Wang Jianchun Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Collection, and held individual calligraphy and painting exhibitions in Wuxi Art Museum and Yixing Art Museum.
