I. Historical evolution

Loudi Vocational and Technical College was established with the approval of Hunan Provincial People's Government in August, 20001. It was formed by the merger of Loudi Economic and Trade School, a provincial key technical secondary school founded in June 2002, and Loudi Industrial School founded in June 2006. In April 2007, Loudi Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School was merged into the College.

Second, the development process

Looking back on the history of our hospital since the listing of 200 1, our hospital has experienced three great leaps and achieved three great changes. The first leap was that in 2006, our college obtained the excellent evaluation of the talent training level of higher vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education, and the college realized the successful transformation from secondary vocational colleges to higher vocational colleges. The second leap was in 2008, when the college was successfully selected as a provincial model college construction unit in Hunan Province, and the college realized the transformation from an ordinary higher vocational college to a provincial first-class higher vocational college. The third leap is at 20 10. The college was successfully selected into the national backbone vocational college, and the college achieved the goal of transforming from a provincial-level first-class vocational college to a national first-class vocational college. 20 1 1 year, our college has entered the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" development stage, and our college is in the stage of realizing the fourth leap, that is, building high-quality domestic first-class local higher vocational colleges and realizing the transformation from extensional development to connotative development.

In June 2006, the college passed the evaluation of the Ministry of Education and was rated as "excellent".

In June, 2008, the college was successfully selected as a model higher vocational college construction project in Hunan Province (Xiangjiao [2008] No.293).

On September 20 10, the college was identified by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as the key construction unit of the national model higher vocational college construction planning (J [2065438+00] No.27).
