Dawukou District is located in the northernmost part of Ningxia Plain, which is known as "Jiangnan". It faces the surging Yellow River in the east and the majestic Helan Mountain in the west. It is the political, economic, cultural, commercial and information center of Shizuishan, an old industrial city in the north of Saibei.
