According to relevant laws, skateboarding on the road is illegal and unsafe. This Law is formulated for the purpose of maintaining road traffic order, preventing and reducing traffic accidents, protecting personal safety, protecting the property safety and other legitimate rights and interests of citizens, legal persons and other organizations, and improving traffic efficiency. Drivers, pedestrians, passengers and units and individuals related to road traffic activities shall abide by them. We should follow the principle of managing according to law and facilitating the masses to ensure orderly, safe and smooth road traffic. People's governments at all levels shall ensure that road traffic safety management is compatible with economic construction and social development. Local people's governments at or above the county level shall adapt to the needs of road traffic development, formulate road traffic safety management plans according to road traffic safety laws, regulations and relevant state policies, and organize their implementation. Skateboarding is an instrument for athletes to step on and slide. On different terrains, floors and specific facilities, under the melody of music, it can complete various complex and difficult actions such as sliding, jumping, rotating and rolling. Extreme sports are some difficult and challenging combined sports. For example, downhill, skateboarding, extreme cycling, rock climbing, snowboarding, air surfing, street downhill, parkour, skateboarding, extreme cross-country, extreme water skiing, extreme roller skating, rafting and so on are all extreme sports. Therefore, non-professionals or professional places with uncertainty and danger are prohibited.

Article 74 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China shall not commit the following acts: (1) using skateboards, roller skates and other sliding tools on the road; (2) Sitting, lying, staying and frolicking in the roadway; (three) car chasing, parabolic collision and other acts that hinder road traffic safety.
