A Generation of Woodcarvers, starring Hou Yong, Xi Lan, Sun xue ning, Guo Guangping, Liu Min, Yao Bonan, Xu Wenguang and Xiong Ruiling, tells the story of a Putian woodcarving family, which was famous for its exquisite skills in the industry but was assassinated. It is scheduled to be broadcast on CCTV8 on May 2, 20231,with three episodes at 7:30 every night and 365433 in May.

At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, Liao, the owner of Xianzuo Liuhe Hospital, kept in mind the ancestral family motto "Be confident and upright, be virtuous and carry things" and became famous in the industry for his superb skills. Liu, the owner of the museum who regarded Liao as his opponent, colluded with the yamen touts to suppress Liuhe Hospital. In a big fire, Liao suffered injustice and was put in prison.
