Life of Ma Ji

Ma Ji (1934-2006), a representative of China New Crosstalk, is a famous cross talk master and performing artist. As the core figure of modern cross talk art, he inherited and developed the cross talk style of Hou School, and walked out of his own creative path, which was imitated by most cross talk latecomers and made indelible contributions to China cross talk.

Ma Ji was originally named Ma Shuhuai. Huang Zhuang Village, Baodi County, Tianjin. I was an apprentice in Shanghai as a teenager.
