Development Status of Blood Station in Wuhu City Center

The central blood station always adheres to the quality policy: blood collection and supply as the center, blood quality as the core, quality service as the purpose, scientific and technological innovation as the guidance, and the satisfaction of blood donors and blood users as the direction of efforts. Pay close attention to quality management, constantly strengthen the quality awareness of employees, and strictly implement the blood test standards formulated by the Ministry of Health. Implement the Measures for the Administration of Blood Stations, the Standards for the Quality Management of Blood Stations and the Standards for the Quality Management of Blood Stations, and establish a complete quality management assurance system. Advanced equipment such as automatic sampling inspection system, blood cell separator, enzyme-labeled instrument, cleaning machine, biochemical analyzer, large-capacity low-temperature centrifuge and -80oс low-temperature refrigerator were introduced, and two fully functional and well-equipped mobile blood collection vehicles were equipped, which realized the whole process of blood collection and supply through computer network management and committed to the integration of blood management with international standardization. In 2007, a set of automatic enzyme immunoassay system made in Switzerland was introduced, and the blood bank was reformed, and the construction of blood cold chain equipment was strengthened, which further improved the blood test level and the safety of blood storage in our station, providing a strong guarantee for ensuring blood quality and clinical blood safety. Wuhu Xinbai Building has a blood donation house to provide warm service for blood donors. The central blood station always regards blood donation as a central task of the whole station, and makes unremitting efforts to further strengthen measures, increase publicity, set up a voluntary blood donation service team and an emergency blood donation bank, and has done a lot of fruitful work in mobilizing and organizing cadres and the masses to participate in blood donation, improving the blood collection and supply environment, and improving service quality. It has realized all sources of blood for clinical use, ensured the need and safety of blood for medical use in the whole city, and made positive contributions to the healthy and sustainable development of blood transfusion in Wuhu. Since June 2007, I have undertaken the sample collection of Wuhu stem cell workstation.
