How is Zhongning County, Ningxia?

It is affiliated to Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is located in the central part of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and at the southern end of the Ningxia Plain. It borders Wuzhong City and Qingtongxia City in the east and northeast respectively, is connected to Tongxin County in the south, Zhongwei City in the west, and Alxa Left Banner in Inner Mongolia in the north. In the 22nd year of the Republic of China (1933), Zhongwei County set aside the area east of the Shengjinguan Mountain River Bridge to establish Zhongning County. In 2004, Zhongwei City was established, and Zhongning County was placed under Zhongwei City. [17] It is the birthplace and authentic origin of wolfberry in the world. In 1961, it was named the Chinese wolfberry production base county by the Ministry of Agriculture. In 1995, it was named the "Hometown of Chinese wolfberry" by the State Council. [2]
