The hospital covers an area of 50,000 square meters, with 48,000 square meters of medical rooms and 600 beds. In recent years, on the basis of the original primary and secondary branches, such as out-of-hospital, in-hospital, newborn, child care, cerebral palsy, orthopedics, skin, oral cavity, facial features, ophthalmology and so on. The hospital has accelerated the discipline construction, personnel training and introduction, and successively added out-of-hospital pediatric department, pediatric neurology department, rehabilitation center, hematology and tumor center, PICU, gastroenterology department, cardiology department, respiratory department and pediatric urology department. In August, 2000, Anhui Emergency Center for Critical Newborns was officially listed. In 2007, neonatology and pediatric cardiothoracic surgery were listed as the key development disciplines of clinical medicine in Anhui Province, and the Pediatric Clinical College of Anhui Medical University was established in our hospital.
