Jianyang No.2 Middle School is located on the beautiful Chongyang River, which is a new children's tour area with prosperous business. It was established in the spring of 1973, and was confirmed as the key completion of the provincial third-class standard after acceptance in April of 1995. In 2000 and 2003, it passed the evaluation and acceptance according to the new standards issued by the province.

In recent years, with the continuous development of high school education, the scale of running a school in No.2 Middle School has been expanding.
