Network and equipment maintenance is generally the work of base station construction and maintenance, and CAD is necessary. This job is hard, but if it is done well, the salary is not bad.

Mobile network optimization is similar to the above work. However, it needs much more experience than maintenance, belongs to the upgraded version of network and equipment maintenance, and works relatively long hours indoors.

Doing these two jobs requires you to learn communication engineering, at least to understand some principles. Such as communication principle, cellular principle, data exchange signal processing and so on.

Supplementary answer: Personally, I think your major is not suitable for these two jobs. At present, the network engineering specialty in China generally belongs to the category of computer network, and has little contact with communication network.
