Jiaxing University was approved by the Ministry of Education in March, 2000, and was merged from the former Zhejiang University of Economics and Jiaxing University. Jiaxing University is a full-time undergraduate college in Zhejiang Province, a second-class public welfare institution, and implements the management system of "co-construction and co-management of provinces and cities, with the province as the mainstay". The school is located in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, and has two campuses, namely, Lin Liang and Pinghu Campus.
