How did I embark on the path of e-commerce?

It has been three and a half years since I started working in e-commerce in 2008. I experienced the era when Taobao was free, during which Taobao strongly supported small sellers; I also experienced the era when Taobao shifted its focus to shopping malls, giving a large amount of resources to enterprise-level sellers who could afford large advertising costs. I also personally opened a Paipai online store (Yizhu Qingyuan Jewelry Store), and witnessed Paipai.com seize the market share from scratch and make progress step by step; I also opened a Baidu Youah online store, and I have not yet made any efforts. When I arrived at this online store, the Youah platform collapsed magnificently just like it did when it appeared in this world. Note: Because at the end of 2010 I discovered that Taobao started to increase its fees, I had already sold my Taobao store to a friend from the Northeast. Later I found out that he had opened it for a while and could not continue to operate it.)

Because My interest in e-commerce started from 2008 to the second half of 2010. While I was running an online store, I researched almost all domestic e-commerce platforms. This laid a solid foundation for my current e-commerce work. Of course, I also paid a heavy price. First of all, it was the incomprehension of the people around me. During the time when I opened the online store, all I received from my relatives and friends was that they only gave me blows. Without exception, they all thought that I was online. Playing, when I don’t want to work and am indolent, in fact, at this time, I have to work hard for more than 15 hours a day. Only people who have opened an online store full-time know how tiring it is. It is this long period of work that has led to now My eyes and shoulders are so tight that I feel very uncomfortable when I work for a long time. I finished wiping out a large bottle of active oil. In addition, in the first year of opening the online store, I almost lost money because this was quite uneconomical compared to my income from work.

There was no clear purpose for studying at that time, because I didn’t understand anything. Anyway, I wanted to learn everything related to e-commerce, online promotion, and online marketing, theory first and then practice. Two words: persistence. Looking back, the hard work over the past few years has not been in vain. Technically speaking, let’s search on Baidu: Zhang Xiaolei’s Sina blog is ranked on the first page, and my two Weibo blogs (not commonly used) are also ranked on the first page. This took me a month, ten minutes a day. That's it. This is pediatrics and not worth mentioning. What is more successful is that my online store sells pearl jewelry. However, because I have been busy with work this year, I have not managed this online store, so I can only spend a few minutes looking at it every day.

Since the second half of last year, I have had some small and medium-sized enterprises in Zhongshan start talking about developing e-commerce work, including Xiaolan’s hardware factory, Triangle’s garment steamer factory, Henglan’s lighting factory, Dongsheng’s Lighting factory, Tanbei furniture factory... During this period, I helped some companies to be responsible for the promotion and operation of Alibaba, HC platform, and some independent websites, and the results were good.
