Reasons for reconstruction of Pingguo station

Pingguo Railway Station is the fourth-class station for passenger and cargo transportation of Nanning-Kunming Railway. 1995 was put into use, and over the past 20 years, it has transported more than 980,000 passengers/kloc-0. According to the construction plan, Yunnan-Guangxi Railway will meet Nankun Railway at Pingguo Station in the future. The existing capacity of Pingguo Station can no longer meet the new demand, so it is imperative to comprehensively transform and upgrade the station.

According to the design, Guo Xinping Railway Station will have two parking lots, Nankun and Yunnan-Guizhou, with the arrival-departure line 1 1. By then, the traffic volume and passenger flow of Pingguo Station will be greatly improved.

According to the design, the building of Pingguo Station is123m long, 37. 1 m wide and 6.5m high. There are two floors above ground, a local underground floor, and a mezzanine building above ground. The whole station building covers an area of about 6000 square meters. The scale of the station is 4 platforms, 6 platforms, 1 1 share, of which 3 platforms and 5 platforms are in Yunguichang (high-speed railway) and 1 platform is in Nankunchang (general railway).
