Kailuan Group has a glorious history. 1925, Comrade Mao Zedong spoke highly of the special fighting ability of the Kailuan working class in the article "Analysis of Social Classes in China". In the 1970s, Premier Zhou Enlai praised Kailuan twice for "making contributions to save the country", and the national industrial front launched a mass movement of "celebrating the anniversary of learning and catching up with Kailuan". Chairman Mao inquired about the production situation of Kailuan several times. Liu Shaoqi, Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping, Peng Zhen, Qiao Shi, Yao Yilin, Li Peng, Zhu Rongji, Wei Jianxing and other central leaders visited Kailuan successively.

Under the new situation of reform and opening up, Kailuan has made great progress in the past 100 years.
