The college covers an area of 293 mu, with a construction area of nearly150,000 square meters. It has modern conditions for running a school. Through various forms of cooperation, such as making teaching plans, introducing enterprise product workshops into teaching, building productive training bases, setting up scholarships in enterprises, and training professional teachers and technicians in enterprises to teach in our school, the effective connection between vocational education and industry, professional construction and enterprises, curriculum setting and posts, teaching content and work tasks has been realized.
According to the development law of vocational education and the growth characteristics of skilled talents, the college combed and refined the talent training mode of "double-school-enterprise, work-study combination", and on this basis, built a curriculum system of "work process orientation based on career analysis" which is based on national professional standards, oriented to professional activities and systematized to work process, and seven majors carried out exploration and pilot projects. At the same time, actively explore the "action-oriented" teaching mode, realize learning by doing, promote the unity of "teaching, learning and doing", strengthen the cultivation of students' practical ability, shorten the process of changing the role of learners into workers, and promote the overall improvement of teaching quality.
In line with the trend of internationalization of education, the college pays close attention to the development of vocational education in developed countries.
