What is an NCO school?

NCO School is a school that undertakes the task of training noncommissioned officers. It mainly undertakes the task of training noncommissioned officers and technical soldiers, and a few military academies also train some noncommissioned officers.

The main sergeant schools in China are: the Third Military Medical University Sergeant School, Xuanhua Communication Sergeant School, Rocket Army Qingzhou Sergeant School, China People's Liberation Army Air Force Dalian Communication Sergeant School, Public Security Frontier Force Sergeant School (Kunming) (formerly Kunming Frontier Command School), Public Security Fire Brigade Sergeant School (Nanjing), Navy Bengbu Sergeant School, Wuhan Ordnance Sergeant School, and Armed Police Hangzhou Sergeant School.

1.？ Army Engineering University (Chongqing) Communication NCO School is located in Geleshan Forest Park, Shapingba District, a famous cultural area in Chongqing. Since the founding of New China, our army has successively established Southwest Military and Political University, Signal Corps Technical School and Signal Corps Engineering Technical School here. Liu Bocheng, Yu, Liu Huaqing and other famous generals studied here and held leadership positions. 1986 College was renamed as "Chongqing Communication College", which is under the Communication Department of the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army of China. The College has been successively rated as "National Model Greening Unit", "National Advanced Unit for Military-civilian Co-construction", "National Model Unit for National Unity and Progress", "Advanced Unit for the Army to Participate in and Support the Western Development", "All-Army Green Camp" and "Chongqing Garden Unit".

2.？ Army Engineering University (Wuhan, Hubei Province) Ordnance NCO School is mainly responsible for the training of ordnance NCO and some technical soldiers of the whole army. The school now offers 22 majors, namely junior college education and undergraduate level. At the same time, the school also undertakes short-term training, rotation training, correspondence education and foreign military student training for military ordnance cadres and non-commissioned officers.

3. The Army Medical University (Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province) Bethune Military Medical NCO School is a training base with a long history, strong strength and distinctive features. The school now offers seven majors: nursing, camp medicine, pharmacy, medical examination, radiation technology, special diagnosis and treatment, and instrument maintenance. The 260th Hospital is attached to this school. Civilian personnel are mainly engaged in teaching, supplementary teaching, nursing, medical technology and other related work in schools. Since the recruitment of civilian staff began in 2007, the ranks of civilian staff in the school have been expanding and their status and role have become more and more prominent, which has made remarkable contributions to the construction and development of the school. 20 17 was merged into the Army Medical University, which was called Bethune Medical NCO School.
