The difference between ZC and CCS
First of all, the foundation is different:
ZC: People's Republic of China (PRC) Ship Inspection Bureau (a government agency under the Maritime Safety Administration, mainly responsible for the statutory inspection of coastal and inland rivers in China, mainly based on the Rules for the Statutory Inspection of Ships and Offshore Facilities).
CCS: China Classification Society (a social organization ship inspection agency) is authorized by China Maritime Safety Administration or Ship Inspection Bureau to carry out statutory inspection and ship classification inspection, mainly based on laws and regulations, such as Rules for Statutory Inspection of Ships and Offshore Facilities, Rules for Classification of Steel Seagoing Ships, Rules for Classification of Inland Waterway Ships, etc. ).
Second, the branches are different:
1. The General Administration of China Ship Inspection Bureau (ZC) is located in Beijing, with offices in major ports in the Yangtze River and coastal areas.
2. China Classification Society has more than 80 branches covering major ports at home and abroad, forming a global service network covering Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania. At present, it has been authorized by the governments of 34 countries or regions to carry out statutory inspections on ships flying the national flags of these countries or regions.
General rules of carbon dioxide classification
Classification society is an international general format for evaluating the technical condition of ships. Classification inspection shall be carried out by the classification society. China Classification Society (CCS) is the national ship technical inspection organization, the only professional organization engaged in ship classification inspection in China, and one of the full members of IACS 10, headquartered in Beijing. The main business of China Classification Society (CCS) includes: undertaking classification inspection, notarization and certification inspection of ships, marine facilities, containers and related industrial products at home and abroad, carrying out specific inspection business such as statutory inspection authorized by the competent authorities of China and foreign governments, and other business approved by relevant competent authorities.
