Dairy project has four majors and directions: dairy technology, refrigeration and freezing technology, agricultural and livestock specialty processing (direction of milk source construction) and agricultural and livestock specialty processing (direction of dairy equipment), with more than 500 students 1.500. Dairy machinery

Curriculum: mechanical drawing, CAD design, computer application, mechanical engineering and metalworking foundation, engineering mechanics, mechanical principle and mechanical parts, hydraulic pressure and start-up, chemical principle, electrician and industrial electronics, automatic control principle, dairy technology, dairy machinery and equipment, dairy equipment installation and maintenance, industrial enterprise management, etc.

Employment orientation: graduates are oriented to dairy processing enterprises and dairy machinery manufacturing enterprises, engaged in the production and equipment management of dairy enterprises; Dairy machinery manufacturing enterprises engaged in dairy equipment manufacturing, installation, technology development and research.

Dairy quality control

Curriculum: biochemistry, microbiology, analytical chemistry, five control systems, computer application, OEC management, CMP operation flow, formulation of national inspection standards, dairy production technology, dairy technical equipment, dairy professional analysis, etc.

Employment orientation: graduates are oriented to various dairy products, food production enterprises and quality control departments, and can engage in technical and management work.

Department of bioengineering

The faculty of bioengineering department is extremely strong, and the basic practice facilities are perfect. The training objectives are clear, mainly to train senior professionals and corresponding skilled workers engaged in research and development of biological products, detection and control of biological processing, food fermentation engineering, alcohol fermentation, biopharmaceuticals, extraction and separation of biological by-products, and management and control of related processes.

Department of mechanical and electrical engineering

The department with the most students in the college. In 2002, as Inner Mongolia Light Industry School was upgraded to Baotou Light Industry Vocational and Technical College, the original mechanical and electrical specialty was also transformed into the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, which was one of the earliest departments established in the college. In 2005, the Department of Electronic Information Engineering was split. The training base of the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering is built with euro loans and consists of 29 functional training rooms. The base fully meets the teaching requirements of practical skills such as electromechanical control, equipment manufacturing and maintenance, and numerical control machining. , and can also carry out relevant vocational skills training, while providing practical teaching services for non-mechanical and electrical majors in the college.

School of Energy Engineering

College of Energy Engineering aims at training and transporting high-end skilled talents in energy specialty and serving local economic and social development, and now offers four majors: wind power generation technology, operation and maintenance of power plant equipment, thermal instrumentation, oil and gas storage and transportation and management. Department of electronic information engineering

The Department of Electronic and Information Engineering is one of the seven departments in the Institute. Mainly cultivate skilled senior technical personnel with certain theoretical knowledge and practical operation ability. Young and middle-aged teachers account for more than 80%, and master students account for more than 30%. The Department of Electronic Engineering has laboratories for analog circuits, digital circuits, PLC, single-chip microcomputer, automatic control, high-frequency circuits, electronic CAD rooms and household appliances.

Department of light chemical engineering

The Department of Light Chemical Industry was established in July 2003. Its predecessor is light industry major, which is the oldest major in the history of the school. Over the past 40 years, a large number of talents have been trained in this field. There are five majors: industrial analysis and inspection, printing technology, environmental monitoring and treatment technology, packaging technology and design, and papermaking technology. The chemical industry has a great demand for higher vocational and technical applied talents, and the department has broad development prospects. Department of Economic Management The Department of Economic Management is one of the earliest departments established in Baotou Light Industry Vocational and Technical College, with abundant teachers and smooth employment channels. Implementing double high education for higher vocational students, that is, strengthening practical education of practical ability and firmly grasping the basic theory of economy; Focus on the practical operation education of secondary school students and increase the intensity of practical training. Department of Art and Design

The Department of Art and Design is the cradle of cultivating industrial and aesthetic design talents, and consists of three teaching and research sections: art, decoration and electrical beauty, clothing and advertising. At present, there are six majors in decoration art design, advertising art design, fashion design, computer art design, animation design and ceramic art. The art design department has seven training rooms for students to practice their skills, including computer design, fashion design and production, manual drawing, studio and decoration woodworking technology, and has established three outdoor sketch bases in Zhouzhuang, Suzhou, Dushi, Beijing and Shichang, Baotou.
