Jianggao Town belongs to Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. Jianggao Town is located in the north-central part of Guangzhou, northwest of Baiyun District, at the intersection of Liuxi River and Bajiang River.

Jianggao Town belongs to the distribution area of alluvial plain and piedmont residual hills in the Pearl River Delta, with low ground potential and an average elevation of only 2 to 7.5 meters. Roughly bounded by Beijing-Guangzhou railway, it can be divided into Gaotian area in the east and low area with dense ponds in the west. There are a few low mountains and hills south of Linliuxi River, among which Baixiangling in the southeast is higher than Jiangxialing in the south-central.

The central area of Jianggao Town is 10 km away from Guangzhou Central Area in the south, 5 km away from Huadu Central Area (Xinya Street) in the north and 7km away from New Baiyun International Airport in the northeast. Land and water transportation is very convenient, and it is the "gateway" area to Guangzhou in the north.

High-grade highways crisscross the area, including three expressway, namely, Guangqing Expressway, Guangzhou North Second Ring Expressway and Guangzhou West Second Ring Expressway, as well as Guanghua Expressway, which can be conveniently connected with Guangzhou Ring Expressway, Guangfo Expressway and Airport Expressway. On several occasions, the first-class highway has formed a channel for rapid contact within the town and between Jianggao Town and neighboring towns and villages.
