Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone is well paid. The overall salary level is more than 45 yuan, with five insurances and two gold, and paid annual leave. Xiamen National Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone was founded by the State Science and Technology Commission and Xiamen Municipal People's Government in December 199, and was approved by the State Council as the first batch of national high-tech zones in March 1991. It is one of the four national high-tech zones named after the torch in China.
