No one knows where he lives except the residents in the mountains. Even the Tathagata doesn't know where his brother is. I didn't even know there were immortals in Hezhou, Xiniu.
Heng San Buddha refers to Amitabha, who is in charge of the western paradise. He has two threats, namely "courage" and "great compassion" avalokitesvara. Sakyamuni, who is in charge of the central women's world, has two threatened followers, Manjusri Bodhisattva with great wisdom and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva with great power. 3. Nu Wa Niangniang
Nu Wa, a queen, cultivates "mysterious air". This Nuwa was born like a snake, withdrawn and quiet, but broad-minded and compassionate. After my nephew Tian Zun carved a world with an axe, Nu Wa Empress took pity on all things in the universe, so she pinched countless clay figurines of men and women with water and yellow mud, imitating her little teacher younger brother Lu Ya, and took a deep breath and put them on the ground, but they all came alive. Later, people felt the merits created by Nu Wa and respected her as the empress of Nu Wa.
Man is in a desperate situation. The merciful Nu Wa Niangniang burned the red, yellow, blue, white and black lingshi, filled the sky with the supreme method, cut off four legs from a giant turtle in the deep sea for thousands of years as four pillars to support the world, and the world finally returned to peace. However, when Nu Wa Niangniang was mending the sky, there was a stubborn stone, which seemed unwilling to be a mediocre mending stone, but slipped out. That was the Monkey King, a stone monkey produced in the future.
4. Lu Ya Daojun
As the saying goes, "Hong Jun's ancestor was the first fairy, and his disciple Pangu created the world." Hong Jun came first, and then one day, Lu Yadao was still there. "That is to say, the emergence of later generations is from Lu Ya Daojun, and the four disciples who founded Yuanling, namely, the bodhi old zu Hong Jun, Hunkun, Nu Wa Niangniang and Lu Ya Daojun, are the top three. They have profound attainments in Taoism and have made great achievements in running schools. However, they are the youngest brother, Lu Ya Taoist, born naughty, never serious, but did not leave any reputation. His teachers and nephews include Taishang Laojun and Tathagata. They addressed him as a little uncle. People who know him also call him Lu Ya Daojun, but among the immortals of the younger generation, they are unknown. Road flyover Lu Ya was born with fire spirit. Flying out of the three realms is not in the five elements. I don't go to Huoyun Sansheng Huang, but I don't care about Yaochi and heaven and earth (it seems that heaven was not under the control of the Jade Emperor at that time). Not in the three religions, not in Elysium. Don't belong to the king, don't belong to hell. I swim freely, and I scatter saints freely.

Fairy-the highest realm of Taoist cultivation is that human beings or other animals can achieve the realm of human relations by absorbing the aura of heaven and earth, live forever, stay in the world forever, and be young forever.
This is the pursuit of immortals, who pursue "heaven"
God-the soul after death
1 First of all, talk about monsters and monsters. This word is often called monster in the west, generally referring to scary-looking animals or orcs, but it is often called monster in the East. Monster is a general derogatory term, which refers to all objects with supernatural power or spells, neither supernatural, immortal nor ghost, which are cultivated by animals and plants and have been transformed into human beings (some may not be adults).
Among them, demons are mostly cultivated by animals, such as snakes and demons, which are not bound by demons; Monsters are mostly cultivated by plants, such as tree monsters. But this is not absolute.
In particular, if animals and plants are fully enlightened by goodness in the process of cultivation, they are fully qualified to become immortals. Demons and ghosts are the evil consequences of the development of the cultivation direction of animals and plants to the evil side. These animals and plants are often called essence, avoiding essence in comparison, ginseng essence, etc. in the process of cultivation (that is, before they become monsters or immortals, but before they have certain mana). The implication is that the dead body is gone, leaving only invisible units. Most ghosts are formed by the soul after death, and can only move in the underworld. If they return to death, they can only come out at night. Because the balance of yin and yang is broken and becomes pure yin, it naturally has a little more super power, but it is extremely weak. So the power of ghosts is very weak. Ghosts generally have three ways out, one is to be reincarnated as human beings or animals and plants, and the other is to suffer in hell. These two are the most common, and one is to be dismembered into a god. Generally speaking, people do more good deeds in the underworld, or cultivate monasteries, or be instructed by experts, or be deified, but they have no chance to become immortals, so they can only dismember themselves and ascend to heaven after death. In fact, these people have never been so-called ghosts. Ghosts can only move at night, which is absolutely impossible during the day.
4. Talk about immortals. There are five kinds of immortals in a broad sense: immortals, immortals, immortals and ghost immortals. In a narrow sense, immortals refer to immortals and secular immortals. Here we only talk about immortals in a narrow sense, that is, immortals different from gods. The concept of immortals is also purely religious. In a word, it is exclusive to Taoism. No matter whether it is a Taoist or immortal, it is always closely related to Taoism. Fairy is a person who is sanctified in the flesh and has perfect merits. Everything can be immortal. There are two ways to become immortal.
The first is passive immortality, which people, animals, plants and even non-living things can do. For example, being touched by immortals, being infected by immortals, taking Taoist fairy medicine, or growing up in an environment that absorbs the aura of heaven and earth can make objects immortal. There are many examples here, so I won't give them.
The second is to actively cultivate immortality. "Anyone who has nine tricks can cultivate immortality", so only people and a few animals can cultivate immortality. When you believe in Taoism, actively practice authentic magic, do more good deeds, and those who are destined can cultivate immortality. But it must be an authentic magic method. If you practice the side door, even if you succeed, you can't become a fairy road, only a demon.
After becoming an immortal, if it is not officially recognized, it can only be regarded as scattered immortals, and it has not entered the real stream, but it is already a happy and immortal body. If it is officially recognized, it will enter the true stream and become a true fairy. At this time, you can choose to be an official or not. After all, you are a fairy who is self-cultivation and refuses to obey the jade emperor. At this time, you can find a famous island in Xianshan, entertain yourself, play chess, drink and visit friends all day, and have nothing to do, listen to the Buddha's lectures and be in the world. It was really fun!
5. Let's talk about God. The concept of God is not religious. Different from Buddhism and immortals, God is a concept of belief and an institutional concept. This should pay attention to details. We don't talk about the ancient gods here, only the gods of later generations. Some ancient gods, such as Nu Wa, Gong Gong, Zhu Rong and Xing Tian, are innate gods of nature, which are strictly different from the so-called gods of later generations, commonly known as great gods or ancient gods. The five immortals in a broad sense are gods and ghosts of heaven and earth. The immortals mentioned above refer to the two immortals of heaven and earth, and the immortals mentioned here refer to immortals and ghost immortals. God is a person who works in heaven or hell after death. Please note that after death, the implication is that God must have been formed after the death of his soul, and he didn't take his mortal body with him, but generally worked in heaven. For example, the last one on the list of gods is God.
People who become gods don't need a religious background, study and practice related religious classics, and don't need to be a Taoist or a monk. As long as you are predestined, or a very good person among the dead, or a person who has done more good deeds, or a person who is respected by the people on earth, you may be sealed as a god by heaven after death and serve as an official in heaven or hell. For example, Bao Zheng, Wen Tianxiang, Guan Yu and others in later generations did not believe in the truth or practice. Because Shi Yang had great influence and was excellent, they were absorbed as gods after their death. Therefore, the concept of God is not a pure Taoist concept, which is different from the immortal Buddha, but it is often ignored by many people.
Having said so much above, especially about immortals, it is inevitable to fall into the old-fashioned question of which level is higher, immortals or immortals. In fact, that is to confuse the level of official position with the perfection of practice. The problem with the immortal level is that they have different degrees of perfection and different ways to achieve positive results. One is sanctified in the flesh, and the other is soaring after death. Immortals are indeed higher than gods and perfection. But it has nothing to do with the so-called official positions, such as the Northern Emperor, Mount Taishan Tianqi Renshengdi and other gods, all of which have high ranks, far higher than ordinary immortals, what's more, ordinary immortals have not held public office!
6. Finally, talk about the system of Heaven. Heaven is actually a country with obvious political division of labor, with the Jade Emperor as the head of state and government, focusing on God and absorbing some Taoist immortals and Buddhists. The Jade Emperor is a Taoist concept. After the immortals and buddhas formed China, they pushed the Jade Emperor to govern China. From this point of view, both Taozu and Buddha are nominally slaves of the Jade Emperor, which is obvious in the westward journey. When Guanyin Bodhisattva mentioned the Jade Emperor, she said it was an order.
After the list of gods was drawn up, the heaven was composed of 365 gods, ruled by the Jade Emperor. However, in the long reform, many departments and many official positions appeared in the sky, such as Bi. In this way, more gods are needed, so many excellent dead people are absorbed into heaven to be officials after their death.
Heaven was originally composed of immortals, and its mana was not as good as that of immortal Buddha. However, when the ranks of God have grown, and there is a considerable organizational scale, even the army, it has become a government with real power. At this time, the two big families, Xianhe and Buddha, though dismissive of China, had to face up to it, because China was the only legitimate government.
Therefore, Xian showed his attitude and was willing to respect the Jade Emperor, and placed a large number of elites in heaven, such as Emperor Zhenwu and Emperor Donghua. Even Daozu was hired as the chief consultant by Tiandao. However, Heaven only manages heaven and earth together with Heaven, and his dignity must not be lost. Therefore, although the old gentleman is an ancestor and the eldest brother of Sanqing, after he became a consultant in heaven, he voluntarily fell to the end of Sanqing in order to protect the dignity of heaven. Later, Buddhism also respected the Jade Emperor and was willing to establish a coalition government. A group of elites, such as the Four Heavenly Kings, were also assigned to work in heaven, thus forming a situation in which immortals and Buddhists jointly control heaven. The Jade Emperor is the leader of heaven, and both Tao Zu and Buddha are willing to be ministers, so the heaven system is great.
The two giants of China's traditional mythological novels are Feng Shen Bang and The Journey to the West. In terms of writing time, The Journey to the West was earlier than the Book of Gods, but in terms of story development, the Book of Gods was earlier than The Journey to the West. Their personalities are different, but they have something in common.
I am incompetent and want to connect the list of gods with the journey to the west. During this period, the main force in the list of gods was to explain and cut off religion, as well as demons and western religions. Explaining teaching and intercepting teaching belong to the door of Hong Jun Laozu De, so explaining teaching and intercepting teaching belong to the same door. Judging from the appellation under the Jiejiao Sect, Jiejiao and Jiejiao belonged to the immortal group before they were named gods. At that time, there was no god, and the purpose of sealing the list of gods was to appoint the best of the disciples and demons under the guidance of the teaching section as a group of gods. Therefore, God is one level lower than the immortal. Let's talk about demons. It can be seen from the book that the demon is an independent ethnic group, which is mainly cultivated by various living and non-living things absorbing the essence of the sun and the moon. From the point of view of mana, the demon is not far from other immortals, but because it is not accepted by interpretation and interception, it can only float out and become a demon. If you enter school by explaining or cutting off teaching, you can naturally be called a fairy.
There is also a western religion, which is the predecessor of Buddhism by name. Western religions were still weak at that time. Judging from his disciples, it should belong to the pioneering period. There are almost no strongmen in western religions except quotations. This is the distribution of power during the period of deification.

The forces existing in this period are six major ethnic groups: God, Immortal, Buddha, Demon, Demon and Ghost. Among them, feng Shen is a person on the list created during the period of feng Shen. At this time, immortals have dispersed into independent groups, indicating that immortals are not as organized as in the period of sealing the gods list. In the Journey to the West, the Buddha is the most powerful, and his talents are abundant.
Demons are still composed of living things and non-living things that absorb the essence of the sun and the moon, just as they were in the period when the gods were named.
Demons are a new ethnic group that did not exist during the period of deification. This ethnic group is mainly composed of educated people, various living and non-living things. Ghosts are also mentioned in the list of gods, but ghosts should still be in disorder at this time, and their mana and strength are still very weak. By the time of Journey to the West, ghosts had become an organized ethnic group. These are the main forces in the journey to the west.

God didn't exist until he was included in the list of gods. The purpose of the list of gods is not so much to seal the gods as to create them. Let's first look at what it takes to become a god. First of all, there is no limit to birth, that is to say, no matter people, immortals or demons, they can become gods as long as they are recognized by immortals or the supreme rulers of gods. This point is best understood by the Monkey King. After learning the dharma book, the Monkey King only belongs to the demon group. But with the approval of the Jade Emperor, he became a god. Therefore, we can draw the conclusion that God adopts the leadership authority system when recruiting personnel. Secondly, there are no numerical standards and requirements for the power of God. Anyone who works miracles like Nezha, Yang Jian and Shi can be regarded as a protoss. Finally, there is no limit to the number of gods. Although there are job places, there are no places. Let's take the Monkey King as an example. When the Monkey King served as a graduate, there was a post of graduation, but there was no quota. From the description in the book, we can know that Bi has an predecessor, but for some reason, this position has been vacant for a long time. After the Monkey King became a god, he was hired for this post. . It is precisely because of these points that the number of gods has greatly increased on the basis of the list of gods, but the quality has declined. For example, the giant spirit god did not exist in the period of sealing gods, but it became one of the important gods of war in the period of Journey to the West. However, compared with Yang Jian and Nezha, the fighting capacity of Giant Spirit God is not a packet. It can be seen that the overall combat effectiveness of God at this time is relatively poor. Before immortals were named gods, they were the most powerful. Before the gods were named, there were only two people in the world, fairies, demons controlled by fairies and western religions that were starting businesses. The fairy at this time can definitely be said to be a master. However, I don't know what happened after the gods were named. By the time of the Journey to the West, the immortals had not fallen into a very scattered situation, and the number dropped rapidly. A considerable number of them have been diverted or switched to other ethnic groups. The purpose of this job-hopping is mainly gods, buddhas and ghosts.
Before the gods were named, the leader of the immortals was the leader of heaven who stopped teaching and the original Buddha who explained teaching. But by the time of Journey to the West, Xian had no nominal leader, and from the point of view of behavior, he had surrendered to the Jade Emperor.
However, Tian Tongzu, the original founder of the Immortal School, and Yuan Shi Tianzun also retired. Their eldest brother, Taishang Laojun, became a special person who was led by God but detached from God. This change is very strange. Judging from the results, the list of gods is a process of dismembering and breaking religion. By dismembering and cutting off the religion, the gods are held high, and the purpose of explaining religion and monopolizing power is achieved. The gods created at this time are just a group with a lower level than the gods, and their strength and power are far less than those of the gods. However, during the Journey to the West, the two just changed places. Instead, God has become a group higher than the immortals, and the immortals have become a group protected by God.
Through the characterization of both ends, we can reasonably guess the connection between the two ends. In my opinion, great changes have taken place after the naming of the gods, which led to the dissolution of Buddhism and made the gods of the Yuan Dynasty lose their command over the gods and become an army of one family. In this change, God has made great progress, and it is possible to realize the transformation from tribal organizations to centralized organizations. And here, there is an extremely secretive figure, that is, the old gentleman on the throne.
In my opinion, in this change, the old gentleman on the throne has played a role in destroying the religious interpretation and reviving the spirit. At the time of sealing the list of gods, the old gentleman had no power and influence, but in the Journey to the West, although he was ordered by the Jade Emperor, the head of the gods, his position was far higher than that of any special god. There is a saying: whoever benefits, who is suspected. The old gentleman can never get this special treatment for nothing. Besides, according to the original power of God, it is impossible to disintegrate hermeneutics.
