Xiangya Ruben's resume

Ruben, male, born in May, 1983, Han nationality.

Party member Zhong * *, graduate student, doctor of medicine, doctor of immunology, vice president of the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, member of the 11th Hunan Youth Federation, won the National Outstanding Youth Fund, the chief scientist of the Youth 973 Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Hunan Outstanding Youth Fund, the national youth post expert, and the winner of the first Zhong Nanshan Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award.

He is currently the deputy secretary and dean of the Party Committee of the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University. He is the only member of the Asian Organizing Committee of the American Shock Society, including national Jie Qing, chief scientist of the National 973 Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, distinguished professor, a lotus scholar in Hunan Province, and Jie Qing in Hunan Province.

In June 2020, 5438-1October, 65438 won the 16th China Youth Science and Technology Award. On February 9th, 2023, 65438 won the 10th Lan Shu Prize in Medicine "Lan Shu Medical Youth Award".

Academic research and contribution

Ruben discovered a number of new drug targets in the disease and an important link leading to multiple organ failure in graft-versus-host disease-HMGB1-caspase-11pathway, and published a series of influential journals in Nature, Immunity, Blood and Nature communications as the first author and correspondent.

Reuben buried his youth in the laboratory and eagerly held the patient in his heart. Engaged in basic research and clinical frontline work of critical illness, and made original breakthroughs in the field of special diseases. He has been invited for many times to give thematic reports or invited reports at important academic conferences at home and abroad, adding Chinese strength to the mountain of world medicine.
