This is the result of the correct leadership of the provincial party committee, the provincial government and Meizhou Municipal Committee, the concerted efforts of Qi Xin, the legal supervision and strong support of deputies to people's congresses at all levels, and the democratic supervision and active participation of CPPCC members at all levels. Here, on behalf of the Meizhou Municipal People's Government, I would like to pay high tribute to the workers, peasants, intellectuals, cadres and workers, to the People's Liberation Army stationed in Meizhou, to the officers and men of the armed police and the people's police! While seeing the achievements, we are also clearly aware of the difficulties and challenges we face: First, the task of economic restructuring is arduous, the pace of transformation and upgrading of traditional industries is not fast enough, and the efforts to promote the construction of a green modern industrial system are not strong enough. Second, the effect of attracting investment is not obvious, the growth of fixed assets investment in the whole society is slow, and the motivation of private investment is insufficient. Third, the pace of agricultural industrialization needs to be further accelerated, and the problem of increasing farmers' income still exists. Fourth, the contradiction between fiscal revenue and expenditure is prominent, especially affected by the state's policy of adjusting consumption tax on tobacco products, and the key tax sources have a greater impact. Fifth, some hot and difficult issues in urban management and social management have not been effectively solved. Sixth, the service awareness and efficiency of some government departments need to be further improved. We will attach great importance to and actively solve these problems.
