Chuxiong Development Zone Experimental Primary School was founded on August 27th, 20001year, and its branch Guzhen Campus was established on September 27th, 20001year, and named as Guzhen Primary School in Chuxiong Development Zone. The school headquarters is jointly managed by Chuxiong Education and Sports Bureau and Chuxiong High-tech Zone Management Committee.

The school headquarters covers an area of 5 1 mu, and the Guzhen campus covers an area of 80 mu. The campus planning and layout are reasonable and the greening environment is beautiful. The school has 287 teaching and administrative staff, and there are 255 teaching and administrative staff in preparation. The average age of employees is 36.

12 music classroom and 10 art classroom were built one after another. All classrooms have good indoor lighting and ventilation, and tables and chairs with different heights are equipped according to the height of students.
