What is the relationship between Morgan Stanley Huaxin and Morgan Stanley?

Morgan Stanley Huaxin, known in the industry as Morgan Stanley Huaxin, is a joint venture fund company. Formerly Jutian Fund, which was established in 2003, was renamed Morgan Stanley Huaxin Fund after the equity transfer was completed in June 2008. The company was established by five shareholders: Huaxin Securities (39.56%), Morgan Stanley (37.36%), Shenzhen Zhao Rong Investment Company (10.99%), Hantang Securities (6.59%) and Shenzhen Zhongji Industry (5.49%).

In other words, Shenzhen Morgan Stanley Huaxin Fund and Morgan Stanley are a family.
