It takes only 30 minutes from Beijing to Tangshan, and Tianjin Baodi to Tangshan 19 minutes.

Jingtang Intercity Railway is an important intercity high-speed railway serving Bohai Rim and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It starts from Beijing Station and ends at Tangshan Station, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, with a line length of 148.74 km, of which the design speed from Beijing to Dachang is 200 km/h; The transition zone from Dachang to Xianghe is 250 km/h; The section from Xianghe to Tangshan is 350 km/h, the maximum design speed is 350km/h, and the bridge length is about 130.7km, accounting for 84.58% of the total length of the line.

There are 8 stations along the Jingtang Intercity Railway, namely Beijing City Sub-center Station, Yanjiao Station, Dachang Station, Xianghe Station, Baodi South Station, Yahongqiao Station, Tangshan West Station and Tangshan Station, among which 5 stations are newly built and need to be rebuilt 1 station, and 1 station has been built.

Beijing-Tangshan Intercity Railway Station:

There are 8 stations along the Jingtang Intercity Railway, namely Beijing City Sub-center Station, Yanjiao Station, Dachang Station, Xianghe Station, Baodi South Station, Yahongqiao Station, Tangshan West Station and Tangshan Station. Among them, two stations were rebuilt, namely Yanjiao Station and Tangshan Station. Six new stations will be built, namely Beijing City Sub-center Station, Dachang Station, Xianghe Station, Baodi South Station, Yahongqiao Station and Tangshan West Station. In addition, motor vehicle applications and motor vehicle applications will be built.

Baodi South Station is an elevated station with four 10 lines. The connecting conditions between Jingbin Intercity and Jincheng Intercity are reserved at both ends of the station. The new Yanjiao Station is located on the north side of the existing Yanjiao Station. The starting point of the long-term planning of Beijing-Tangshan high-speed railway is Beijing Railway Station. As the laying method of the section from Beijing Railway Station to Tongzhou needs to be designed separately according to the master plan of Beijing Sub-center, it is not part of this Beijing-Tangshan Intercity Railway Project.
