Brief introduction of urea-formaldehyde adhesive

Urea-formaldehyde adhesive is a colorless and transparent adhesive synthesized by polycondensation of urea, formaldehyde and catalyst (alkaline catalyst or acidic catalyst) into initial urea-formaldehyde resin and then under the action of curing agent or auxiliary agent. Urea-formaldehyde adhesive is mainly used in wood-based panel industries such as particleboard, plywood and blockboard. Melamine modified urea-formaldehyde adhesive has good waterproof performance, which is used in the production of building formwork to replace the traditional phenolic resin.
