Yesterday, the reporter learned from the Jining Municipal Government Office of Shandong Province that according to the "Notice on the Implementation of the Issuance of Teaching Age Subsidies to Rural Former Private Substitute Teachers" issued by the Provincial Department of Education and other four departments, combined with the actual situation of the city, Jining City has formulated an implementation plan for granting teaching-age subsidies to former private substitute teachers in rural areas.

The plan points out that for those who are currently registered in Jining City, Jining City will comprehensively solve the problem of private teachers (as of December 31, 2002) who previously worked as teachers in rural public primary and secondary schools (including rural public kindergartens) Former private substitute teachers who have worked continuously for more than 1 year (including 1 year), have left their teaching positions and have not been hired by state agencies or enterprises or institutions, and are over 60 years old, will be paid 20 yuan per month for each year of teaching experience. Standard subsidies will be provided, and the remaining teaching experience of less than one year will be calculated as one year. Among them, private teachers who are included in the plan for retirement, former private substitute teachers who died before the implementation of this plan, and former private substitute teachers who were dismissed or fired for violating national policies and regulations or criminal offenses will no longer enjoy this policy. In addition, teaching age subsidies will be provided to former private substitute teachers, effective from January 1, 2014. Those who reach 60 years old after January 1, 2014 will enjoy the teaching age subsidy from the following month; those who are over 60 years old will receive it from January 1, 2014, and no reissue will be provided for the years exceeded.
