Shixia Village in Miyun District

This article is only dedicated to the old stone box man who once had a stone box memory.

The name stone box is very old. It's 52 1 year. It was built in the 17th year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty (1500).

500 years ago, in the northeast of Miyun, a square earth city with a circumference of more than four miles was built. In 45 years of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, Shicheng was rebuilt. Set up four doors: east, west, north and south.

According to legend, there is a huge stone box buried under the west gate of the stone box city, which contains treasures. Many people used to come here to dig boxes and found nothing. On the contrary, the local people harvested a place name-the stone box.

One afternoon 500 years later, a black tank 300 SUV drove into this village, also called Shixia Village. There are five people in the car related to Shixia Village or historical or geographical factors.

The driver is a middle-aged man in his thirties, tall and broad-faced, and he is the boss of a transportation company. The others are his father, mother, uncle and cousin.

Five people stood on the high slope in front of the village committee in Shi Xia, looked southwest and saw the endless water surface.

One of the 60-year-old black and thin man said:

Due to the flood of Miyun Reservoir, villagers in Shi Xia experienced two major relocations in 1958 and 1997. The five people on the off-road vehicle moved from Shi Xia to Shunyi County on 1997. At that time, they didn't want to leave and wanted to stay, but for the sake of drinking water in Beijing, they had to go back to their hometown. Some of these five people were born in Shi Xia, some spent their childhood in Shi Xia, and some got married and had children in Shi Xia. But now the stone box is not the hometown stone box they remember.
