The Interim Provisions on the Professional Qualification System of Banking Professionals has corresponding provisions:

Article 10 A citizen of People's Republic of China (PRC) who meets the following conditions at the same time may sign up for the preliminary qualification examination of the banking industry:

(2) Having full capacity for civil conduct;

Article 7? The evaluation of primary vocational qualifications of banking professionals shall be carried out in a unified national outline, unified proposition and unified organization examination system. In principle, the exam is held twice a year.

Article 9 The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and China Banking Regulatory Commissions shall supervise and inspect the examinations organized by the China Banking Association, and guide the China Banking Association to determine the subjects, examination questions and qualified standards of the primary qualification examination for the banking industry.
