Dafeng Port has outstanding geographical advantages.

Dafeng Port will become the central port connecting Shanghai Port and Lianyungang, and the sea passage in the middle of Jiangsu Province. Upon completion, it will be connected with National Highway 204, Yan Ning expressway, Tongyu Canal, Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, Xinchang Railway, Tongjiang in Heilongjiang under construction to coastal expressway in Sanya, Hainan, and expressway in Xuzhou (Dafeng Port) built during the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, forming a three-dimensional traffic pattern that radiates Yancheng and Hainan. The gross national product of this area exceeds10 billion yuan, and the annual container throughput exceeds 300,000 TEUs. It is hoped that the TEU exported from Dafeng Port will reach 50,000 TEUs in the near future. At present, Jifeng Logistics Company has been established in cooperation with Shanghai Port Group, which is responsible for the route opening and operation management after the completion of the first phase of the port project.
