From 1986 to September 1999, the Second People's Hospital was located in Yangyanling, Tangjiang Town, covering an area of 28,86 square meters and a building area of 12,973 square meters. In 1985, there were 159 employees, including 1 with intermediate title and 9 with junior title. There are 175 regular beds, 6 simple beds, 45 outpatient visits per day and 433 inpatients per month. In 1986, an attending physician building was built. In the same year, a medical clinic was opened in Shibantou, Tangjiang. From 1989 to 1999, a health clinic was set up in Neichao township government to provide medical and preventive health care services. From 1991 to 1993, there was a "Guangdong tide" in hospitals, and 38 employees were transferred to developed areas in Guangdong Province, most of whom were medical backbones, which greatly impacted the work of hospitals, with only 13 outpatient visits per day and 2 hospitalizations per month. In 1995, the Second County Hospital was renamed the Second People's Hospital. In July 1996, the baby-friendly hospital was established and passed the evaluation. In March, 1997, with the approval of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, the Second Hospital of the City, Tangjiang Needle Health Center and Pingtian Health Center were merged and reorganized to form the new Second People's Hospital of the City. The original Second Hospital was the headquarters of the hospital, and the original Tangjiang Town Health Center and Pingtian Health Center were changed to Tangjiang Clinic and Pingtian Clinic of the Second People's Hospital of the city. At the same time, an integrated management office is set up to be responsible for the management, prevention and health care of rural doctors and individual doctors in Tangjiang Town, Pingtian Township, Tangjiang Township and Daling Township. After the merger of the 3 hospitals, there are 228 employees, including 186 health technicians. In July 1998, 4 mu of land was expropriated, and the comprehensive building and ancillary facilities of the Second Hospital of the City were built in the former Pingtian Health Center. In October 1999, only the relocation was carried out, and all the people, finances and materials of the former headquarters of the Second Hospital moved into the new comprehensive building, which integrated outpatient service, hospitalization and office consultation. The headquarters of the Second Hospital was changed to a residential area for employees, and the Pingtian clinic was cancelled. In 2, there were 198 employees in the Second Hospital of the City, including 143 health technicians, 2 senior titles, 34 intermediate titles and 17 junior titles. There are 72 beds, with 74,225 outpatient visits and 3,645 hospitalizations. The cure and improvement rate is 96.9%, the mortality rate is 1%, and the bed utilization rate is 5%. In 1996, it was awarded the title of "Second Baby Hospital" by the Ministry of Health.
