The ace majors of Changsha University are: Japanese, business administration and software engineering.

1, Japanese: Japanese major (undergraduate) was identified as the first batch of key undergraduate majors in Changsha University in June 2006, and was identified as a "first-class specialty construction site" by the Ministry of Education in June 2008.

Public Administration: The Department of Law and Public Administration (including the Department of Ideological and Political Theory) was formerly known as the Department of Political Science and Law and was established in 1999.
