Brief introduction of Tang Wei town

Tang Wei Town belongs to Xiangcheng District of Suzhou City, bordering Taiping Town and Yangcheng Lake Town in the east, Likou Town in the south, Huangdai Town and Beiqiao Town in the west, and Changshu xin zhuang zhen in the north. The total area of the town is 36.69 square kilometers, and the township area is 10 square kilometers. In 2000, there were 24 administrative villages and 2 community neighborhood committees in Tang Wei Town. In 2000, the total population of Tang Wei Town was 34,042. Tang Wei Town is the central town of Jiangsu Province, the hometown of freshwater pearls in China, the sanitary town of Jiangsu Province and the modern demonstration town of Suzhou City. 1 Tang Wei Town Ring Expressway, Provincial Highway 227, Suyuzhang Highway, planned light rail line 2 and intercity railway pass through the territory, and the roads in the town extend in all directions. By the end of 2000, there were 1 complete middle schools, 6 complete primary schools, 1 village primary schools, 9 kindergartens and 1 adult education center schools in the whole town.
