School introduction

The predecessor of Nanchang Institute of Technology is Ganjiang University is a private university founded in 1988. In 1998, the school was renamed Ganjiang Vocational College. In 2003, the school was renamed Jiangxi Ganjiang Vocational and Technical College. In April 2011, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, Nanchang Institute of Technology was established on the basis of Jiangxi Ganjiang Vocational and Technical College. As of February 2021, the school has 10 secondary colleges, offering 55 undergraduate majors and 33 junior college majors, covering 7 disciplines including engineering, economics, management, literature, law, art and education.
