James Takwu (1922-202010.29), male, born in the United States in Taishan, Guangdong, is a Hong Kong businessman and the founder of Maxim Group. 1947 Graduated from Lingnan University. Before his death, he served as honorary chairman of Hong Kong Maxim Group, president of china tourism association in Hong Kong, honorary chairman of the board of directors of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, president of the Baking Industry Association of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, director of the Education Development Foundation of Sun Yat-sen University in Guangdong Province, honorary chairman of the board of directors of Lingnan College of Sun Yat-sen University, and chairman of the fund-raising development committee. Wu Zhande co-founded Maxim Group, which is now the main subsidiary of Dairy Farm International Holding Company. Under his leadership, Maxim Group has opened many restaurants, nightclubs, fast food restaurants, cakes and cafes, institutional catering units and theaters in Hong Kong.
