Brief introduction of Xiangtan Geely automobile factory

Hunan Geely Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. is located in Jiuhua Economic Development Zone, Xiangtan City. It is the fifth vehicle manufacturing base of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd. The factory covers an area of 560 mu and will be built in three phases according to the principle of one-time planning and phased implementation. "Geely King Kong" was produced in the first phase of the project. On February 25, 2006, the new car rolled off the production line smoothly, gradually forming a production scale of 50,000 vehicles.

Hunan Geely Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. not only undertakes the production and operation of traditional automobiles of Geely Holding Group, but also undertakes the industrialization project of hybrid electric vehicles of Geely Holding Group. Hybrid power is the innovative goal of Geely Automobile. The project is led by Guo Konghui, a double academician of China Academy of Sciences and China Academy of Engineering, and Jilin University and Hunan University are highly equivalent.
