Gu Qinglian is from Tang Ya Village, Jiangshan, Yinxian County. He has been a teacher or principal of Zhong Yi Middle School in Fenghua County, Pingxiang Middle School in Jiangxi Province and No.4 Normal School in Ningbo. Middle-aged students study in Japan and Yokohama. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, he was promoted to be a member of the Advisory Board, and he was outspoken. In the Republic of China, Chiang Kai-shek went to Ningbo to recruit soldiers, served as the chief of Wenxi, the recruiting headquarters of Shanghai Army, and later went to the township government. Gu Qinglian is not only a teacher of Chiang Kai-shek, but also a teacher of Jiang Jingguo. 19 17, Chiang Kai-shek personally entrusted his 8-year-old teacher Gu Qinglian (at this time, Gu taught in Fenghua County Middle School). Jiang Jingguo has great respect for his father's husband and studies hard. 1920 Chiang Kai-shek wrote in his letter: "I know that when Mr. Gu came to Shanghai incorruptibly last year, he said,' You mean enlightenment.
