Born on January 19, 1914 in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.

Study in the Mining and Metallurgy Department of Jiaozuo Institute of Technology from 1933 to 1937.

1938-1942 Trained at Changsha Local Administrative School and worked at Chongqing No. 21 Arsenal.

From 1942 to 1945, he served as the director of the casting workshop of Guizhou Dading Aviation Engine Manufacturing Factory and was hired as a metallurgist

expert. From 1945 to 1948, he went to the British Rolls-Royce Company for an internship and studied at the Royal Institute of Technology.

From 1948 to 1950, he served as professor of the Department of Mining and Metallurgy, College of Engineering, Guizhou University.

From 1950 to 1953, he participated in the construction of Hangzhou Jingwei Textile Machinery Factory.

From 1953 to 1956, he served as a special engineer of the Second Ministry of Machinery Industry.

From 1956 to 1964, he served as deputy technical director and chief engineer of the Institute of Aeronautical Materials.

From 1964 to 1966, he served as deputy chief engineer of the Sixth Research Institute of the Ministry of National Defense.

From 1966 to 1977, he served as deputy director of the 16th Research Institute of the National Defense Science Commission.

In 1977, he served as technical advisor to the Third Ministry of Machinery Industry and advisor to the Aviation Research Institute.

In 1981, he served as consultant to the Import and Export Committee.

In 1982, he served as a standing member of the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Aviation Industry.

In 1985, he served as a special consultant to the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Aviation Industry.

Died in Beijing on October 4, 1995.
