During his five months in Yan 'an, he deeply understood China's principles and policies, experienced the life of the people in the base areas, felt the revolutionary spirit of the people in the base areas behind enemy lines under the leadership of China, and gave him great encouragement, which enabled him to see the bright future of national liberation in China, strengthened his belief in the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, and thus sprouted a strong desire to praise them. In addition, after he returned to Chongqing, he personally felt the ugly acts of the reactionary Kuomintang authorities, such as passive anti-Japanese, active anti-Communist, and superficial cooperative destruction (such as the "Southern Anhui Incident" in 194 1 year and 1 month), and felt the dark life and decadent corruption atmosphere in the Kuomintang-controlled areas.
