History of Maanshan Iron and Steel Plant

Early establishment, middle development and late reform.

1. Early establishment:1In February, 953, Maanshan Iron and Steel Plant was established and Maanshan Iron and Steel Company resumed production in an all-round way. In August, 1958, 1 1, Maanshan iron and steel company was formally established.

2. Mid-term development: Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. has continuously developed and built a number of advanced production lines. There are three series of products: excellent talents, belts and shafts. Wheels, H-beams, cold heading steels and pipeline steels have independent intellectual property rights and core technologies. Wheels and H-beam products won the title of "China Famous Brand" and the joint-stock company won the "National Quality Award".

3. Late stage of reform: 1993, Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was divided into Maanshan Iron and Steel Company and Maanshan Iron and Steel Company. 1998, Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was restructured into Maanshan Iron and Steel Group Holding Co., Ltd. according to law. On September 19, China Baowu and Maanshan Iron and Steel Group formally signed a restructuring implementation agreement.
