What are the employment directions of biotechnology?

How can I put it? As a biotechnology major, based on the situation of our senior students after graduation, I feel that not many people choose to work as undergraduates, because their knowledge after graduation is limited, and many large enterprises or scientific research institutions will not recruit undergraduates unless you have something to prove your ability in university.

First of all, let's talk about the fields that employment can choose. In fact, many college students are not suitable for employment at present, especially the graduates of our major. Many students who don't want to take the postgraduate entrance examination have been admitted to civil servants, or have gone to pharmaceutical companies, and some are engaged in the sales industry. Anyway, most of them are not suitable and the salary is not too high.

Some people went to teach in middle schools. I feel that it is still good to choose the education industry. Of course, I don't mean to be a teacher by books, but to establish an education and training institution. At present, biology teachers in middle schools are very popular because there are too few talents. If we can organize training courses, focusing on biology education, the development prospects are still very good.

I have several seniors and sisters who jointly run such an institution. I don't know the specific mode, but I worked as a substitute teacher there for a while during the summer vacation, and it felt good, because now parents attach great importance to their children's education, and their institutions integrate experiments and knowledge, and the effect is good. Most children's grades have been greatly improved, so word of mouth, more and more students.

In a word, I don't recommend going to work after graduation, because it is really difficult for our undergraduate students to find jobs, at least until after graduation, before they can engage in jobs closely related to their majors.
