Zhejiang A&F University ranks 200th in China.

Zhejiang A&F University (Zhejiang A & amp；; FUniversity), referred to as "Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University", located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is the only provincial agriculture and forestry university in Zhejiang Province. It is a university jointly established by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and jointly established by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau.

Key construction universities in Zhejiang Province have been selected into the national "11plan" and "excellent agricultural and forestry talents education and training plan", and are members of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance and National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance.

The school was founded in 1958, then called Tianmulin College. 1960 merged with Zhejiang Agricultural College to form Zhejiang Agricultural University. 1966 was renamed as Zhejiang Forestry College,1970 merged with Zhejiang Agricultural University in July, 1979, and resumed running independently in February.

As of June 2023, the school has two campuses, East Lake and Yijin, covering an area of more than 2,800 mu, with a construction area of 920,000 square meters and a total value of instruments and equipment exceeding 600 million yuan. There are 20 colleges (departments), 1 independent colleges and 69 undergraduate majors; Postdoctoral research mobile station 1 unit.

There are 6 authorized points for doctoral degrees in first-level disciplines; First-class discipline master authorization point 19, professional master authorization class16; Full-time undergraduate students 17249, graduate students 4578, international students 490, faculty 2 165.

1958, committee of cpc zhejiang provincial committee decided to establish forestry college, named "Tianmu Forestry College". In June of that year, with the Provincial Forestry Department as the main body, Jiande prefectural party committee transferred party and government cadres, and a group of well-known professors and returned scholars participated in the preparation. At that time, the majors were forestry, mechanization of wood harvesting and transportation, wood mechanical processing and chemical processing technology of forest products. The enrollment scale is 400.

1In July, 959, the provincial party committee and the provincial people's committee decided to merge Wenzhou Forestry College with Tianmu Forestry College. 1960 In February, the provincial party committee decided to merge Zhejiang Agricultural College, Tianmushan College and Zhoushan Fisheries College to form Zhejiang Agricultural University.

1February, 962, the provincial party Committee decided that Tianmulin College was placed under the leadership of the provincial education department by Zhejiang Agricultural University, and the work of the party committee was led by the party committees of provincial universities. The Forestry Institute, which was originally led by the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was placed under the dual leadership of the Provincial Forestry Department and Tianmu Forestry College.
