Article 24

The decorator and the decoration enterprise shall sign a written residential indoor renovation contract to clarify the rights and obligations of both parties.

Article 27

All kinds of solids, flammable liquids and other wastes formed in the process of indoor decoration of residential buildings shall be piled up and removed in accordance with the prescribed place, method and time. It is strictly forbidden to pile up all kinds of solids, flammable liquids and other wastes in residential garbage lanes, corridors or other places in violation of regulations.

Article 28

Materials and equipment used for interior decoration of residential buildings must meet the national standards, with quality inspection certificates and product names, specifications, models, manufacturers' names and addresses marked in Chinese. It is forbidden to use building decoration materials and equipment that have been explicitly eliminated by the state.

Article 29

If the decorator entrusts an enterprise to decorate the residential interior, the air quality after the completion of the decoration project shall meet the relevant national standards. The decorator can entrust a qualified testing unit to test air quality. If the test is unqualified, the decoration enterprise shall rework, and the responsible person shall bear the corresponding losses.
