Legend has it that there was a Taoist who always wanted to ask Wang Xizhi to write a book, Tao Te Ching. He heard that Wang Xizhi likes white geese best, and he likes their noble character, high head posture and loud cries, so he specially raised a group of white geese.
One day, Wang Xizhi passed by the Taoist priest's house and saw a flock of white geese swimming in the pool in front of the door, spreading their wings, flapping the water, shouting with their heads held high and swimming forward. Wang Xizhi was fascinated by this scene and refused to leave for a long time. He asked the Taoist priest to sell him the goose. The first gentleman smiled and said, "Since you like it so much, I will give you all these geese. But there is one requirement. I want you to copy a copy of Tao Te Ching for me. "
Without saying anything, Wang Xizhi copied this passage for the Taoist priest on the spot. The Taoist priest was very happy and immediately put the goose in a cage and gave it to Wang Xizhi to express his gratitude. At present, there is a goose pond in Lanting Park outside Shaoxing. There is a stone tablet on the pond. It is said that the word "goose pond" was written by Wang Xizhi, and the word "goose pond" was written by his youngest son, Wang Xianzhi.
Why does Wang Xizhi like white geese so much? It is said that this has something to do with his study of calligraphy. He thinks that when writing, the index finger should be as high as the goose's head and slightly bent, and when holding the pen, he should dial the water like a goose's foot, so as to concentrate on the nib. The calligrapher Bao of Qing Dynasty wrote a poem describing this situation: "Put all your energy in the end, and settle your feet first. When you realize that geese are swimming in the water, you will know that it is difficult for five fingers to work together. "
Why does Wang Xizhi like geese so much? It turned out that he thought writing was like swimming in a white goose. He should put all his strength in the palm of his hand, concentrate on his pen, so as to see his writing ability.

Nan Jiyun was born in a peasant family in Nanzhai Village, Dunqiu, Weizhou (now qingfeng county, Henan) during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (AD 7 12-756). Because it ranks eighth, it is called "Nanba". He made great achievements in pacifying the "An Shi Rebellion". Nan Jiyun was industrious and capable when he was a teenager, and he loved learning. He always studies literature and practices martial arts after work. Legend has it that he can shoot 72-way marksmanship, is good at riding and shooting, and can draw a bow left and right, and the arrow is not empty within 100 steps. Because of his poor family, he had to leave home and go out to make a living. Later, he went to Zhang Xun's men and was entrusted with an important task. In the second year of Zhide (AD 757), after An Qingxu killed An Lushan, Bianzhou secretariat Yin sent 300,000 troops to attack Suiyang (now south of Shangqiu County, Henan Province). Xu Yuan, the prefect of Suiyang, turned to Zhang Xun for help. Zhang and Nan led his troops from Ningling to Suiyang, broke through the rebel line and joined the Suiyang garrison. After Yin went to war, he was shot in the left eye by an arrow from Nanyi. In order to defend Suiyang, Zhang Painan went to Xu, the envoy stationed in Pengcheng (now Xuzhou), for help. Xu was indifferent and scolded. With 30 years' fine riding rate, he broke through to Linhuai (now Xuyi North, Jiangsu Province) and asked the ancient imperial doctor Helan Jin Ming for help. Seeing that he refused to send troops, he went forward to the south and said, "Suiyang and Linhuai are close at hand, and the two places depend on each other. If Suiyang falls, Linhuai will be in danger. Please ask the doctor to think twice. " Seeing that Nannan was a rare general, Helan wanted to stay with him, so he gave a banquet. Nan said in tears: "When the clouds come, people who have no good feelings for Yang will not eat the remaining month. Although Yun wants to eat alone, it is unbearable. Eat without swallowing. " Say, pull out the sabre and break the middle finger. However, Helan remained silent, and Nan said, "The commander's orders cannot be carried out, the rebels cannot be destroyed, and the country cannot be at peace. Please leave this finger, make a gesture to show people's hearts, report to the commander, and live and die with the city. " Resign with the horse. When leaving the city, the angry bow shot at the stupa, and the arrow entered half an arrow. And vowed: "After pacifying the rebels, they will be killed in Ming. This arrow is my ambition! " . On the way back to the city, Suiyang was discovered by the rebels and entered the city after a bloody battle. There is no food in the city, "tea and paper are exhausted, and horses are exhausted; When the horse ran out of hysteria, the sparrow dug the mouse "and began to eat people, and Zhang Xun killed my concubine as a canteen", and then included all the women in the city to eat; It is exhausted, followed by a man who is old and weak. " After eating more than 20,000 people in the city, there are only 400 people left in the city. Yin attacked the city with a ladder, and the defenders on the city were too hungry to draw a bow. In October of that year, Suiyang fell, and Zhang Xun and Nan Jiyun were captured. Yin advised Nan to surrender, and Nan was very helpful. He said loudly, "a man should not give in to unjust people." He would rather lose his head and go down in history than leave any stigma on earth. " Hold your head high and die bravely. Later generations once said, "Who laughs after spilling blood?" ? Hometown is poor in coarse beans; Where is Li Tang now? It is better to have a temple than a general!
