Lover island, formerly known as Houmen Mountain, is located on the east side of the central part of Zhujiajian Island Island, about 100 m from the headland between Nansha and Dongsha, and can be used for crossing the sea at low tide. In this way, Zi Long and Pittosporum often meet on the beach, and their feelings are getting deeper and deeper. They made a vow of eternal love and never changed their minds.

Unfortunately, the good times did not last long. Living in the cave on the island, the green snake spirit discovered the secret of love between Zi Long and Pittosporum. Green snake spirit is very jealous, but it knows that it can't beat Zi Long, so it makes a plan and tells the East China Sea Dragon King. When the Dragon King learned that the Seven Princes had fallen in love with all the fishermen's daughters, he flew into a rage. He ordered the seven princes to return to the Dragon Palace for life.

Zi Long didn't want to say goodbye to his beloved girl, so Haitong told him to go back quickly. As soon as Dragon left here, Green Snake Essence caught Pittosporum in the snake cave. It told Haitong that Dragon abandoned her and would never come back, forcing her to marry herself. The girl Hai Tong is indomitable and firmly believes that Zi Long will come back for her, and she has been pregnant for three months. Green snake essence had nothing to do, so she had to put Pittosporum into the bottom of the cave.

Zi Long is in the Dragon Palace, but he is tied to Pittosporum. After her death, her body and hair became evergreen trees all over the mountains. This is the Pittosporum tree in lover island.
