Is there any way to treat mosquito bites?
The weather is getting hotter and hotter, and there are more and more mosquitoes. A human-mosquito war has begun again. As long as mosquitoes don't leave, this war will be staged one after another. Especially when there is a baby at home, mosquitoes are simply the mother's number one enemy. How can we safely stay away from mosquito bites and draw a satisfactory end to this long-running human-mosquito war as soon as possible?
Man-mosquito war, home preparation
Mosquitoes generally appear in April every year and reach the peak in the middle and late August. When the climate gets cold in autumn and the temperature drops below 10 degrees Celsius, mosquitoes will stop breeding, go into hibernation without eating, and come out to harm people until they wake up the next spring. The most suitable temperature for mosquitoes is about 30℃, which is too high for them.
The family environment should do the following:
1. Check the pots, pans, floor drains, sewers, flowerpots and other places with stagnant water at home, cover them with covers and change the water frequently. Floor drains, sewers and other places to prevent water accumulation, often spraying some pesticides, not giving mosquitoes living space.
2. Water should be changed regularly for aquatic plants at home.
Pay attention to close the screen window and screen door, and don't leave the door wide open for mosquitoes to come in directly.
4. Don't throw cans, mineral water bottles, egg shells and other rubbish that is easy to accumulate water. It's best to use the kind with a lid on the trash can.
5. If you are on a business trip or don't live for a long time, cover the toilet and clean the water in the sink to prevent mosquitoes from laying eggs.
Five measures to prevent mosquitoes in summer
Mosquito bites are affected by three factors:
First, the carbon dioxide exhaled by the respiratory tract is the directional odor source of mosquitoes, which can help mosquitoes find people and then bite.
The second is the heat. Fat people are more likely to be bitten by mosquitoes. Dark clothes absorb heat to attract mosquitoes.
The third is excrement. Mosquitoes love to bite people with big pores and sweat. Generally, men attract more mosquitoes than women, young people attract more mosquitoes than the elderly, and healthy people attract more mosquitoes than patients because there are more secretions on the skin surface. Moreover, children have a strong metabolism and are also favored by mosquitoes.
In addition, when women come to menstruation, their secretions will change, thus attracting mosquitoes.
Sweating will attract mosquitoes, so experts suggest taking a bath after exercise. If you sweat less, mosquitoes will bite less.
So, how to prevent mosquito bites? According to experts, there are five measures to prevent mosquitoes in summer:
First, it is best to use less soap when bathing in summer. Generally speaking, mosquitoes like nectar, so the probability of being bitten by mosquitoes will increase after using perfume, cosmetics, cream and other items with floral fragrance. However, not all smells will provoke mosquitoes. For example, the cologne commonly used by men can repel mosquitoes because of its sandalwood smell.
Second, eat more vegetables. Some vegetables contain smells that mosquitoes don't like, such as vegetables containing carotene, garlic and other spicy vegetables. After people eat it, mosquitoes will stay away from you.
Third, wear light clothes. Aedes mosquitoes (also known as spotted mosquitoes) like to park on black clothes.
Fourth, try to wear socks. Many girls like to wear shoes barefoot, but they don't know that after wearing socks, mosquitoes feel that people's skin humidity is reduced, and the volatiles on the skin surface are reduced, which will reduce bites.
Fifth, you can't catch it after being bitten. After scratching, the tissue fluid and lymph in the skin ooze out and swell into blisters, which will become more and more itchy and will not fade easily. If you insist on not grasping, the itching will obviously subside after 10 to 15 minutes.
Folk mosquito repellent has a strange trick.
Bottle trapping method: use some empty wine bottles, each bottle contains about 10 ml of sugar water solution, and gently shake it a few times to make the sugar water stick around the inner wall of the bottle and put it in the place where mosquitoes are active. When mosquitoes smell sugar, they will automatically fall into the "trap in the bottle" and get stuck.
Take medicine to repel mosquitoes: take some vitamin B in moderation every day. After taking it, vitamin B is excreted from sweat or urine through human metabolism, which will produce some special smells. Mosquitoes hate the smell, so they dare not go near the human body.
Desk fan mosquito repellent method: Mosquitoes are prone to glow at night, so after turning off all the lights at home, use a desk fan with an indicator light and swing it at a large angle, and the blades will kill many mosquitoes.
Smoke to repel mosquitoes: in the room, put some sawdust, preferably scented sawdust, on the sawdust, put some red-hot charcoal, and then put some dried citrus, orange or grapefruit peel on it. After burning, it will give off a very strong smell, and mosquitoes will "stay away from it" when they smell it.
Orange cellophane mosquito repellent method: put orange cellophane with strong light transmittance on a 60-watt light bulb, and mosquitoes will flee everywhere.
Dry orange peel mosquito repellent method: light a few pieces of dry orange peel or orange peel indoors, and mosquitoes will flee in a hurry.
Mosquito repellent method: use appropriate amount of mint leaves, perilla leaves or tomato leaves, knead into juice and apply it to the naked skin of human body. Mosquitoes will smell the special smell of these plant juices for fear of avoiding them.
Smart flowers can repel mosquitoes.
Putting some flowers indoors can repel mosquitoes. it wont hurt you to try it

2. Rhododendron: It has certain toxicity. Medicine can cure rheumatism, kidney deficiency, traumatic injury, swelling and pain, but mosquitoes dare not approach.
