Provisions on fire exits in Property Law

Legal analysis: organs, organizations, enterprises, institutions and other units should perform the following fire safety duties: to ensure the smoothness of evacuation passages, safety exits and fire truck passages, and to ensure that fire prevention and smoke prevention areas and fire prevention spaces meet fire control technical standards;

No unit or individual may damage, misappropriate or dismantle or stop fire control facilities and equipment without authorization, bury, occupy or block fire hydrants or occupy fire prevention spaces, occupy, block or close evacuation passages, safety exits and fire truck passages. Doors and windows in crowded places shall not be equipped with obstacles that affect escape and fire fighting and rescue.

If a unit violates the provisions of this Law and commits any of the following acts, it shall be ordered to make corrections, and a fine of not less than 5,000 yuan but not more than 50,000 yuan shall be imposed: occupying, blocking, closing evacuation passages, evacuating exits, or committing other acts that hinder safe evacuation; Occupy, block or close the passage of fire engines, which hinders the passage of fire engines;
